When you ride in a taxi/private hire car in our city in Brighton and Hove we want you to be 'Cab Safe' and here at Streamline Taxis 202020 we only have Brighton & Hove fully licensed drivers and vehicles with council controlled CCTV.
It is unfortunate to have to state that if you use Uber here you are not guaranteed to be provided with a local licensed driver and vehicle.
In fact Uber uses drivers and vehicles that are not under the control of Brighton & Hove City council which we consider is wrong... and that is nothing to do with competition.

If you have an issue or complaint about a driver/vehicle supplied to you in the city here that is not licensed by Brighton & Hove City Council you will have to find out where that driver is licensed and then make a complaint to the council of whatever area the driver and vehicle licensed in and this could be a hundred miles away.. or more.
We are not saying that Uber is unsafe....however please consider the following:
